Falcade

Falcade, picturesque mountain village in the Val del Biois valley, in the Province of Belluno, is a true natural paradise and ideal destination if you are looking for peace and tranquility in the nature. Surrounded by some of the most famous peaks of the Dolomites, like the Focobon Group, Marmolada, Civetta and Pale di San Martino, it is a territory worth exploring both in summer and in winter, and a place for spending some relaxing days in the cozy hotels.

In winter you will be spoiled for choice: the Trevalli ski area features a good 100 km slopes and 60 km cross-country skiing trails, with uphill facilities in the center of the village, 3 snowboard parks, snow tubing slopes and snowshoeing trails winding among charming vistas. Every skier should try at least once the Skitour of Emotions. The village features some important historical attractions: the gothic church of Falcade Alto with its many works of art, and the Murer Museum, hosting the most famous works of local artist Augusto Murer.
